L’Osteria- Italian- Munich

Gemma May 10, 2017 Europe, Restaurant Visits Leave a Comment

First of all, I don’t want you to worry. We did eat traditional Bavarian food while in Munich. I’m just not doing those posts. Brendon will have them up in the next day or so.

So, continuing with our theme of not eating traditional local food, this time it was Italian. The pizzas were HUGE! (You can see the size of the pizza v the size of the plate in the image below – and that was only half!) But so thin and tasty. I only ordered a half pizza and bruschetta, but had I wanted to, I could have polished off more.

This restaurant was chosen as another cold weather haven and it did its job well.

The service was fast, and pizza was fresh and delicious. I ordered a hot salami, mozzarella and basil pizza, while Brendon ordered a ham, mushroom, prosciutto pizza. They were thin, with large puffy crusts and just perfect for what we needed. Again, I didn’t feel heavy after eating this pizza.

Highly recommended for a visit.
