Fat Cat Brewery

Brendon May 10, 2017 Europe, Restaurant Visits Leave a Comment

Prague is a city of wonder and history. It is also known for Pilsner, a beer brewed in Plzen, which is a hoppy lager. Pilsner Urquell signs abound. So it is a surprise to see a bar/brewery in the heart of Prague 1 with it’s own Pale Ale. Intrigue and more…

The place has a modern, yet classic vibe: light wooden furniture, a small central bar, yet it meanders through it’s classic Prague architecture to accommodate 170 seats. Table service is there, but as we had already had dinner, we could only muster desert and a couple of drinks. I went for an apple strudel, while Gemma went for the brownie (naturally). The Pale Ale is delicious, a nice, hoppy ale.

All in all, can recommend this as a great place for a few drinks. There is a beer sampler too, so you can experience the full range of their brews.
