Indian Leaf Restaurant

Gemma May 23, 2021 Inner Sydney, Restaurant Visits Leave a Comment

Always on the search for good Indian takeout. Last night I tried Indian Leaf Restaurant in Redfern.

Ordered Masala Dosai (spicy potato crepes essentially). This was a bit of a let down. The crepes themselves were chewey and flavorless. The inside potato mixture was delicious though. I’ll probably try to make it myself in another blog post soon.

Also ordered some chicken biryani, basmati rice, lamb Rogan Josh and cheese and garlic Naan bread.

The food was delivered on time and was quite nice. But nothing quite special or standout about this food.

But there is nothing wrong with this meal either. It was warming on a cold night and there was plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. You definitely get your moneys worth with this.

not sure if I will order this again or not. I may still keep looking for that something special.
